Nia Black Belt Teacher ~ Evonne

About three years ago (or more) Kyla and I would to hike to an irrigation ditch behind our parents property and take some time once we got there to do some Nia. I didn't know what exactly Nia was, but Kyla made it very entertaining (as she does with most everything). We spent time "reaching for the stars", "planting the seeds", "blowing in the wind", etc. It felt peaceful and goofy. It felt like being a kid again on the property that we grew up making forts and playing horses on. I felt at ease and energized all at the same time.

So when Evonne contacted us to do some photography for her website, Kyla and I were beyond excited to participate in one of her Nia classes to get an idea of how she leads her ladies. Somehow I ended up on the verge of tears (good ones) the entire class. The energy moving through me and through the room trigger a powerful emotional response from my soul. I can't explain it.
