A crisp winter afternoon in Durango Colorado

I have had the pleasure of working with the Ricedorff family on a couple of different occasions, but this was the first photo shoot where the entire family came out to play. Kelly showed up in high heals, even after having stitches on her foot. Very "Sex and the City" style. Lucky for Kelly her brother Kyle has enormous amounts of strength and endurance. He piggy backed her from place to place and with a smile on his face. It made me kinda want a brother.

Heather and Ray ~ This ones for you Heather!

I adore this couple. Heather has been such an inspirational person in my life. After getting to know her, she zoomed to the top the of the list of artists I respect and love. I admit to doing a bit of a jig at the announcement of Heather and Ray's engagement. Heather was not discrete about her desire to make a lasting commitment to Ray. They are planning a private ceremony somewhere tropical with just the two of them and their photographer. Ok, the photographer part is not true, but wouldn't it be great if it was. ;)

Upcoming Wedding in Pagosa, Colorado. Celebrating the engagment of Amy and Troy!

These two are one of the reasons why Wesley and I are so excited about our weddings this year. Amy and Troy are a riot to work with. I had to be quick with the shutter release because they kept switching up their poses before my lights had a chance to recharge. The longest I got them to stay still was for a sexy-serious shot. Amy pulled off the look like a natural while Troy tried really hard to be sexy, but neither lasted very long before busting into laughter. I can't wait for the golf carts! ...to be continued.

Bringing in 2010 NYC Style!!!

I was so pleased to find photos that I liked in the collection of images I took while visiting the big apple. Our trip went by so fast I felt like it was all just a delicious dream. Turns out it was real and we actually accomplished a lot in our week there thanks to our rockstar friends Carly and Mark who kept us up into the wee hours of the morning drinking Manhattans and other fun beverages. They also did an astounding job of keeping our bellies full and our taste buds happy. In addition to good food and drinks we had a long over due catch up with my cousin and soon-to-be Broadway star Maegan, as well as our long time friends Kate and Shelby. Happy 2010!!!
