I had the pleasure of photographing and dining at the Fox Fire Farms first annual farm dinner. Chefs from Cocina Linda's, the Mahogany Grill and the Ore House prepared a five course meal all made with local produce and pared with five varieties of local wines including one of Fox Fire's very own. The meal was timed perfectly with the help of a punctual crew. Not even a slight evening shower moved the guests from their tables. Instead they placed napkins on their heads until the dribbles past. I hope there will be more dinners at Fox Fire Farms in the future and if there are I would highly recommend finding your place at the table.

Pagosa Wedding Photographer ~ Amy and Troy
Amy and Troy's Wedding last Friday was our first golf course ceremony. When we first met they promised Wesley and I our very own golf cart to ride around in and photograph. So as you can image we have looked forward to this wedding for quite some time. True to form Troy kept his promise of our personal golf cart, as well as keeping smiles on everyone's faces, most of all his Bride's. We lucked out with the weather. It was perfectly cloudy all through the ceremony and only began to sprinkle once we made it back to the reception tent. I love, LOVE, love moody sky's especially in the photograph of Amy kissing her daughter Isabelle right before they walked down the "isle." Isn't that delicious? Congratulations Amy and Troy on a long awaited day of bliss.

Durango Wedding Photographers ~ Paige and Daniel's Wedding
As the story goes this was not the first time I have photographed Paige in wedding attire. We recruited her for a bridal photo shoot a few years ago because she is such a doll. On Saturday however this sweet gal had a groom (Daniel) at her side. I would say one of Daniel's gifts is gentle persuasion. It took him many attempts to get his gal to say yes to a date with him. It wasn't long after she finally accepted that his theory was proved right, they were meant to be. Congratulations to an adorable, fun-loving couple! Way to stick with it Daniel!!!

Mazel Tov! with a Cuban Twist
Naphtali and Josh took the most important aspects of each of their cultures and put on an incredibly unique celebration incorporating a Jewish ceremony and a reception with Cuban flair. All the people, places and animals they love were involved in one way or an other. They were married at Boyce Lake near Durango Mountain Resort, and true to form the mountains decided to surprise the family and wedding party with a batch of mosquitoes following the ceremony. We took as many family photos as we could bare before piling into cars and peeling out of the meadow. Once back at DMR, everyone stopped scratching their bites and enjoyed the fabulous food, tasty mojitos and a beautiful evening.

Namaste's 20th Anniversary!
Namaste Health Center pulled out all the goods to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. There was enough food to feed a herd of buffalo, which was a good thing because I think the entire town of Durango made an appearance for the celebration. A falcon even showed up to check in on things. Two different bands entertained throughout the party. Gift bags and health sweets were available to tickle any taste bud. A raffle for a free year of Namaste service was another highlight. Plenty of good company and cheer. Congratulations Namaste on a successful 20 years of helping individuals achieve optimum health in mind, body, and spirit. May there be many more years to follow. Engagement and Wedding Photographer ~ Joshua and Naphtali
We just have to take a moment to talk about Naphtali's heels. The "unicorn" heals. I love them!!! I could not pull these off because my balance skills in heels are questionable, but I love that there are women out there that can bust out all sorts of sexy in shoes like this. It makes me happy. We are photographing Joshua and Naphtali's wedding on Friday. Our first face to face encounter was yesterday and I admit to wanting to do a Happy Larry after our visit. I am really excited to work with these two. Yes they are a gorgeous couple and to top it off have equally glorious personalities. Yay!!!
