Carol and Brian ~ Telluride Wedding Photographers

Similar to weddings, mountain storms are unpredictable, gorgeous, and over before you know it. Carol and Brian had to make that decision that every couple fears when planning an outdoor wedding, should we move it inside? The huge clap of thunder heard throughout the entire town of Telluride about forty-five minutes before the ceremony began, proved that moving all the guests to a tiny church in town seemed much safer than spending half an hour on top of lift nine. The ceremony was wonderful, but the storm somehow never hit. Go figure. We had a great opportunity to shoot at the top of the mountain before the reception began and all the guests we able to see what brought this fabulous couple to Telluride in the first place. In the end Carol and Brian got the best of both worlds; A cute, warm, safe place to have a ceremony and the most beautiful afternoon light made for stunning photos.
